Remote-controlled car sets speed record, then explodes
A British man's remote-controlled car, powered by a JetCat 220 engine, broke the Guinness World Record for speed on its first attempt, reaching 94.76 mph. However, subsequent attempts at faster speeds resulted in the vehicle's nose falling off and, ultimately, the car exploding at a top speed of 141 mph due to strong winds. The initial run of 94.76 mph became the official record.
