Ex-Philadelphia officer Mark Dial to face all charges in Eddie Irizarry shooting death
Former Philadelphia police officer Mark Dial has had all charges reinstated against him in the shooting death of Eddie Irizarry. The charges include first-degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and official oppression. Dial was taken back into custody after the judge ruled in favor of the prosecutors. Body camera and surveillance footage showed Dial opening fire on Irizarry as he sat in his car.
