"Toyota's Rally2 Vehicle Set for Inaugural WRC Appearance in Monte Carlo"

Toyota's GR Yaris Rally2 car is set to make its World Rally Championship (WRC) debut in Monte Carlo after receiving homologation from the FIA. Developed for customer rallying, the car aims to bridge the gap between motorsport and production vehicles. With over 15,000 kilometers of testing, including a victory at Rally Hokkaido by WRC team principal Jari-Matti Latvala, the GR Yaris Rally2 has proven its capabilities. Four teams will introduce the car at the WRC event in Monte Carlo, with drivers Hikaru Kogure, Yuki Yamamoto, and Bryan Bouffier participating in WRC2 campaigns.
