The 2023 Railbird Festival is being held at Red Mile for the first time, with more than 40,000 people expected to attend. Festival-goers are encouraged to park downtown and walk to Railbird or use a rideshare service, and shuttle passes are available for those who bought them. Security measures will be in place, and attendees can leave and re-enter as often as they want until 7 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Clear bags, small purses, blankets, and baby strollers are allowed, but large bags, coolers, umbrellas, and pets that aren't service animals are not.
