Jay Leno Takes Flight in Dune Buggy with Aircraft Engine
Jay Leno drives a Meyers Manx dune buggy fitted with a 2.0-liter, three-cylinder aircraft motor from Radial Motion, producing 130 hp/130 lb-ft. The motor is all gear-driven and fuel-injected/water-cooled, with barrels and heads finned to give an almost VW-like air-cooled look. The Meyers Manx company, now owned by investor Phillip Sarofin, worked on hot-rodding one of the throwback kit versions.
