Portland Timbers CEO Heather Davis announced that the decision to end the seven-figure sponsorship deal with DaBella was "fairly easy," leading to the removal or covering of all DaBella signage at Providence Park and on players' jerseys.
Providence Park in Portland, Oregon, will launch an outdoor concert series starting in the summer of 2024, with rock band Foo Fighters scheduled to be the first act. The stadium, which has undergone extensive renovations for soccer, will be able to seat about 30,000 people for live music events, making it the largest concert venue in the Portland area. The addition of Providence Park as a music venue could attract bigger acts that previously skipped the market, and the venue will work with Live Nation for full stadium shows while also collaborating with independent promoters for smaller concerts.
