Alec Baldwin's Emotional Control on 'Rust' Set Questioned by Prosecutors
New Mexico state prosecutors allege that Alec Baldwin had "no control" over his emotions on the set of the film Rust, contributing to safety compromises, and "shamelessly lied" about the deadly shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. The prosecutor claims that Baldwin's behavior and changing statements demonstrate a lack of concern for those around him. The filing also revealed that prosecutors offered Baldwin a misdemeanor plea deal, which was rescinded when they learned he was planning a documentary about Hutchins and pressuring witnesses. Baldwin is due to go on trial in July on a charge of involuntary manslaughter.
