Google's Project Tailwind: The AI-First Notebook for Smarter Note-Taking.
Google has unveiled Project Tailwind, an AI-powered notebook tool that can automatically organise and summarise a user's freeform notes. Tailwind is available through Labs, Google's hub for experimental products, and uses a personalised interface to help users sift through their notes and docs. The tool can generate a study guide, answer natural language questions about the notes and cite all of its sources within the docs. Tailwind serves as a demo for PaLM 2, the successor to Google's PaLM large language model for understanding and generating multilingual text.
