
Starbreeze Unveils Co-Op Dungeons & Dragons Game
Starbreeze, the developer of the Payday series, has announced an officially licensed Dungeons & Dragons co-op multiplayer game, codenamed Project Baxter, set to release in 2026. The game will feature co-operative multiplayer, a Games as a Service-model, community engagement, and a larger than life experience. It will launch on all major platforms with cross-play and be produced in Unreal Engine 5. Starbreeze CEO Tobias Sjögren expressed excitement about the partnership with Dungeons & Dragons, while Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro praised Starbreeze's passion for the franchise and their ability to create an experience that will delight fans worldwide.
