Pokemon Go players were left puzzled by a strange nickname restriction when trying to name their Ultra Beast, Kartana. One trainer discovered that adding a space before the number seven in the nickname "Kartana 7" was considered inappropriate, while "Kartana7" was allowed. The reason behind this restriction remains unknown, leading to speculation about gaps in the profanity filter's logic. Some trainers suggested that the combination of "ana7" in the nickname could be misconstrued as a sexual act in leetspeak, but it was the nickname with the space that was rejected.
