Kierre Williams, the suspect in the murder of a Nebraska priest, has a criminal past with warrants from multiple states and a previous drug conviction in Florida, according to court documents. Williams is facing charges of first-degree murder, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, burglary, and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person. The priest, Father Stephen Gutgsell, was found stabbed in the rectory of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and later died at a hospital. Williams was found lying on top of the priest when deputies arrived at the scene. No weapon was found on Williams, but a bloody knife was discovered nearby. Funeral arrangements for Father Gutgsell have not yet been finalized.
