Pride Celebrations Unite Communities Across Texas and New Mexico
Thousands of people gathered at Crockett Park in San Antonio to celebrate Pride, with the goal of celebrating unity and embracing diversity. Pride San Antonio president, Phillip Barcena, said the event is fighting for the right of the LGBTQ community to exist, especially with the legislation happening in Texas and other states. The event is also calling for action and awareness of the anti-LGBTQ bills in the US, including 53 in Texas.
