Rescue Operation: Car Recovered from West Topeka Pond After Monday Morning Crash
A two-vehicle crash occurred at an intersection in west Topeka, resulting in a black Chevrolet Malibu being propelled into a nearby pond. The pregnant driver of the Chevrolet was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Passersby came to her aid before a wrecker pulled the car out of the pond. No injuries were reported for the occupants of the red Dodge pickup truck involved in the collision.
