Jerry Kill Exposes New Mexico's Attempt to Block NMSU Practice
New Mexico State coach Jerry Kill accused New Mexico athletic director Eddie Nunez of trying to deny his team access to practice facilities in retaliation for an incident earlier this year. Kill claimed that New Mexico State would have had to practice at a local high school field if not for the intervention of the New Mexico Bowl executive director. The New Mexico Bowl stated that it ensures equal access to training and practice facilities for both teams. Kill, who led New Mexico State to bowl games in his first two seasons, called for disciplinary action against Nunez.
