Panthers' Hayden Hurst Overcomes Post-Traumatic Amnesia to Return to the Field
Carolina Panthers tight end Hayden Hurst has been diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Amnesia following a hit in a game against the Chicago Bears. Hurst's father confirmed the diagnosis on social media, but expressed optimism that it is not career-ending. Hurst has been in the concussion protocol and is set to miss his fourth consecutive game. The Panthers have had a difficult season with a 1-11 record, and head coach Frank Reich was fired in late November.
