Multiple crashes in Kalamazoo County leave one dead and several injured.
A 64-year-old Kalamazoo driver sustained life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Portage Street on Sunday morning. The driver later died due to the injuries. The impact of the crash caused damage that required Portage Street to be closed to traffic between Alcott Street and Miller Road. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident and asking anyone with information to come forward.
