Pool Chemical Mixture Sparks Violent Explosion in Anderson County
A chemical explosion occurred in Anderson County, South Carolina, when a family mixed two chemicals together while preparing their pool. The mixture caused an exothermic chemical reaction, resulting in heat and pressure. Three individuals were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. Multiple emergency response teams, including Hazmat, fire departments, EMS, and deputies, were dispatched to the scene.
