The incident, which resulted in Cousins entering the concussion protocol, occurred during the second period of their recent game. Zucker, who has no prior history of fines or suspensions, will forfeit over $82,000 in salary and has the right to appeal. The hit that led to Zucker's retaliation was not deemed punishable by the NHL.
