Scottie Scheffler Secures Back-to-Back PGA TOUR Player of the Year Honors

Scottie Scheffler has been named the PGA TOUR Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, receiving the Jack Nicklaus Award, while Eric Cole has been honored as the Rookie of the Year with the Arnold Palmer Award. Scheffler, who is world No. 1, also set a record for most official money earned in a single season and received the Byron Nelson Award for the lowest scoring average. Cole, at 35, is the second-oldest Rookie of the Year and led the TOUR with 554 birdies. Both awards were determined by a vote from PGA TOUR members.
