Custodes Unleashed in Plastic: Horus Heresy Gets a Grand Miniature Refresh
Games Workshop revealed a plastic-heavy overhaul of the Horus Heresy Adeptus Custodes line, converting much of the resin range to plastic and delivering a more ornate, larger-scale infantry aesthetic. The first battlegroup box includes two Custodians' squads, Custodian Guard, Sentinels, a Shield Captain, a Contemptor dreadnought (configurable as Achillus or Galatus), and a Caladius Annihilator Grav-Tank, with more plastic variants (Caladius, Coronus, Venatari) planned. Updated Horus Heresy rules will appear in Liber Custodes, alongside rules for Assassinorum and the Sisters of Silence; the models are also compatible with Warhammer 40k. Fans are excited by the increased detail and scale, though the kits may be more complex to assemble.
