Taiwan Issues Arrest Warrant for OnePlus CEO Pete Lau in Talent-Hoarding Crackdown
Taiwan's Shilin district prosecutors issued an arrest warrant for OnePlus CEO Pete Lau and two Taiwanese colleagues, accusing them of illegally recruiting more than 70 engineers across Taiwan since 2014 in a bid to curb China-linked talent poaching and protect intellectual property, in violation of the Act Governing Relations Between the People of the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area.
