Big Slick Celebrity Weekend shatters fundraising records with $3.5M raised.
Big Slick, a celebrity charity weekend and benefit, raised over $3.5 million for pediatric cancer research in 2023, setting a new fundraising record. The event, hosted by KC celebs Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Jason Sudeikis, Rob Riggle, Heidi Gardner, and other celebrity guests, has now raised over $21 million since it was first started in 2010. The money raised goes directly to Children's Mercy. The event included a celebrity softball game, an online auction, and a Saturday night show and auction at the T-Mobile Center. The celebrity hosts also visited the kids at the Kansas City hospital.
