Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak has been announced as the next free game on the Epic Games Store, available from August 24-31. The ground-based RTS game is a prequel to the Homeworld series. Meanwhile, the release date for Alan Wake 2 has been delayed by 10 days, now launching on October 27 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
