Square Enix has announced that FFXIV Patch 6.5 Part 1 Growing Light, the first half of the final main scenario patch for Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker, will be released on October 3, 2023. The update includes new story content, a new dungeon, and a new trial, among other additions. The second half of the patch is set to release in mid-January 2024.
The Final Fantasy XIV 6.5 patch, titled "Growing Light," was announced during the Fan Festival 2023. It will include new main scenario quests, two new dungeons, new trials, the final chapter of the Myths of the Realm alliance raid, a collaboration with Fall Guys, updates to side content such as Hildibrand Adventures and Tataru's Great Endeavour, job adjustments, system updates including solo play for Stormblood duties and expanded free trial content, and more. The patch is scheduled for release in early October.
