Tragic Drowning Incident Claims Swimmer's Life at Saylorville Lake
The man who drowned in Saylorville Lake's "Party Cove" has been identified as Robert Issacc Mayberry Jr., a 26-year-old from Des Moines. Mayberry went underwater around 7:16 p.m. and his body was found the next day about 15 to 20 yards from the shore. The search was temporarily halted due to dangerous conditions but resumed the following morning.
