India's Response to Khalistani Terrorist Threats and Extradition Efforts
The Indian government has responded to Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun's threat to attack Parliament on or before December 13, stating that while they do not want to give too much attention to such threats, they are taking the matter seriously and have raised it with US and Canadian authorities. Delhi Police have increased security measures in and around Parliament, vowing to maintain law and order. Pannun, the chief of extremist organization Sikhs for Justice, is currently being investigated for an alleged foiled plot to murder him in the US involving an Indian government official.
