"Blue Angels Take Flight at San Francisco Fleet Week"

Fleet Week in San Francisco kicked off with a Parade of Ships, followed by the highly anticipated air shows featuring the Blue Angels. The event honors California-based military units and individuals for their heroic actions, such as the California Air National Guard 129th Rescue Wing, which has saved over 1,159 lives. Visitors also had the opportunity to experience various public service demonstrations and exhibits. Fleet Week is dedicated to the late Senator Dianne Feinstein, who brought the event to San Francisco in the 1980s.
