The Palm Springs International Film Awards Gala showcased a star-studded red carpet event, with numerous high-profile actors and filmmakers being honored. Danielle Brooks received the Spotlight Award for "The Color Purple," while Paul Giamatti was honored with the Icon Award for "The Holdovers." Greta Gerwig was named Director of the Year for "Barbie," and Colman Domingo and Da’Vine Joy Randolph were recognized for their performances in "Rustin" and "The Holdovers," respectively. Cillian Murphy and Emma Stone took home the Desert Palm Achievement Awards for their roles in "Oppenheimer" and "Poor Things." Jeffrey Wright, Billie Eilish, and Finneas O’Connell were also among the honorees, with "Killers of the Flower Moon" receiving the Vanguard Award.
