The Very Severe Cyclonic Storm "Biparjoy" is currently located 840km south of Karachi, with a maximum wave height of 25-28 feet. The storm is expected to intensify into an Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm for at least the next 24 hours. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the open sea, and section 144 has been imposed in Karachi, banning entry to beaches and water activities until the end of the storm to avoid any untoward incident of shipwreck or drowning.
