The series will include regional tournaments and culminate in live events hosted by DreamHack Dallas and DreamHack Stockholm. The OWCS is being run in partnership with ESL FACEIT group, and details on where fans can watch the series are yet to be announced.

"Overwatch 2 Esports: The Future with ESL FACEIT Group and Saudi Arabia's New Era"

Blizzard has partnered with ESL FACEIT Group to create the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) for Overwatch 2 esports, replacing the now-defunct Overwatch League. The OWCS will feature regional and international tournaments, with ESL FACEIT Group and WDG running the regional tournaments. The season will start in February, culminating in end-of-year LAN finals in November, with midseason Major events in between. The midseason Major and end-of-year World Finals will be held in DreamHack Dallas and DreamHack Stockholm, respectively.
