Series of Accidents Cause Major Delays on I-81 in Dauphin County
Three separate incidents, including an overturned FedEx tandem tractor-trailer, have caused the shutdown of Interstate 81 in Dauphin County. Two tractor-trailers collided, causing debris and fuel to land on the road, and a third incident involved a tractor-trailer ending up in the median and a second tractor-trailer turning in the wrong direction. Injuries have been reported, but the extent is unknown. PennDOT is awaiting a sand truck to help clean up the area, which could take one to two hours.
