The discovery was made by a volunteer civilian dive group using sonar technology. Although law enforcement has not officially confirmed the identity, Lemire's family believes the remains are hers. The vehicle, a 2004 Ford Freestar van, was located in an area indicated by the last cell phone ping from Lemire's phone.
