Ed Sheeran has won his first Emmy for best original music and lyrics for the song "A Beautiful Game" featured in the season 3 finale of "Ted Lasso." The award was presented at the 2023 Creative Arts Emmys, which also saw "Ted Lasso" win for best guest actor in a comedy series. The Apple TV+ series continues its success with a total of 61 nominations and 13 wins to date. The Primetime Emmys broadcast is scheduled for January 15, with an edited version of the Creative Arts Emmys airing on January 13.
