Bandcamp Workers Unionize Amidst Shift in Working Conditions.
Bandcamp employees in the US have formed a union, called Bandcamp United, with the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Local 1010. The employees are asking for a fair and timely election and believe that the company should reflect its mission internally. The union drive comes a year after Epic Games acquired the music platform. Bandcamp's CEO, Ethan Diamond, said that the company is reviewing the petition to understand the employees' concerns.
