Fatal Crash at Daytona Speedway During Practice Session
A driver has died and another has been injured in an "on-track incident" during a practice session at the Daytona International Speedway. The incident occurred during an Audi Club track rental session, and the cause of the accident is currently under investigation. The identities of the victims have not been released. International GT, one of the organizing groups, confirmed the driver's death and expressed condolences to the family. The second driver involved in the incident remains hospitalized.
