The Legal Nightmare of a Band's Absurdity.
Alt-rock band OK Go is being sued by cereal company Post over the name of their new “anytime, anywhere” cereal line, OK GO!, which is just a punctuation mark away from the band’s name. OK Go had previously worked with Post in a 2011 YouTube video promoting Honey Bunches of Oats. The band argues that their past association with Post would suggest to consumers that they’re somehow involved with this new cereal line. Post’s legal team rejects this idea and is seeking a court ruling that they are legally able to use the name OK GO! on their cereal product.
