"Organic and Joyful Architecture: Gallareta House by OJA"
OJA (Organic and Joyful Architecture) has designed the Gallareta House, a boutique-scale tourist complex located in Patagonia, Argentina. The project consists of landscape cabins that blend into the native forest, with large windows that connect the interior spaces with the surrounding nature. The cabins are built on a steep slope and offer views of Lake Correntoso. The exterior of the cabins features the ancient Japanese technique of "Shou Sugi Ban," which involves burning the first layer of wooden planks to create a unique texture. Inside, the cabins are coated with Guatambú wood, creating a spacious and monolithic appearance.
