Deadly Explosions Rock Guinea: Oil Terminal Blast and Fuel Depot Explosion Shake Capital
At least eight people were killed and 84 injured in a blast at an oil terminal in Conakry, Guinea's capital. The explosion caused a huge fire and billowing black smoke, forcing hundreds to flee. Guinea, which is not an oil producer, imports refined products stored in the Kaloum terminal. The cause of the blast is unknown, and an investigation will be launched to determine responsibility.
