"Pawtucket Police Officer Arrested for DUI Amidst Controversy"
Pawtucket police officer Daniel Dolan, who was previously acquitted in an off-duty shooting case, has been arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence. Dolan was stopped in Coventry and cited for refusal to submit to a chemical test and laned roadway violations. The arrest report has not been released, but Dolan allegedly made threats toward public officials. Pawtucket officials are aware of the arrest and will consider it in their efforts to terminate Dolan's employment. He is currently on paid leave as his employment case goes through the Law Enforcement Officers' Bill of Rights process.
