
Off-duty police officer targeted in Chicago crime spree
An off-duty Chicago police officer was among the victims in at least six armed robberies across the city. The officer was approached by four individuals with handguns and a rifle who robbed him in the Portage Park neighborhood. The robberies, which involved a black Nissan or blue sedan, occurred between Monday night and Tuesday morning in various locations. No injuries have been reported, and no suspects have been apprehended. Police are investigating whether the incidents are connected.
