Indian Migration to Rich OECD Countries Reaches Record High
Indians lead in acquiring foreign citizenship, with the United States being the most popular destination, followed by Australia and Canada. Canada has shown the highest growth in granting citizenship to foreign nationals, with a 174% increase between 2021 and 2022. Last year, a record number of foreign nationals acquired OECD country citizenship, with India being the main country of origin since 2019.
