O Street Night Two: Amplified Déjà vu

The second night of Memorial Day weekend on O Street in Lincoln, Nebraska saw a noticeable increase in people, vehicles, and law enforcement activity. Lincoln Police and the Nebraska State Patrol were present with their mobile command center and helicopter. Authorities cleared out packed parking lots and strip malls by 11:45 p.m. There were also several traffic stops throughout the night. By 1:30 a.m., law enforcement operations were over and little traffic remained in the area.
