Lawsuit Claims Doctor Dies from Allergic Reaction at Disney World Restaurant
NYU doctor Kanokporn Tangsuan died after dining at a Disney Springs restaurant where the waitstaff allegedly assured her that her food was allergen-free, despite her nut and dairy allergies. She later experienced severe difficulty breathing and collapsed, ultimately dying at a local hospital. Her husband has filed a lawsuit against Disney, claiming negligence and seeking damages in excess of $50,000, alleging that the company failed to ensure that the food served was allergen-free and did not properly educate its employees on serving allergy-safe food.
