Arctic Cold Triggers Friday Class Cancellations at UW–Madison
UW–Madison cancelled all Friday classes (lectures, labs, discussions) for Jan. 23 due to an Extreme Cold Warning with wind chills of -30 to -40 F. All other campus operations will continue; employees should report to work as scheduled. Parking permits will be waived in several campus lots and shuttle-served off-campus lots, and athletics events are expected to proceed.
