Nintendo Expands Film Ventures with New 'Nintendo Stars' Division
Nintendo has restructured its film division, now called Nintendo Stars, to develop movies based on its popular characters like Mario and Zelda, following the success of the Super Mario Bros. Movie. The division, which was previously Warpstar, is now wholly owned by Nintendo and is working on a sequel to the Mario movie and a live-action Zelda film, with plans for more adaptations in the future.
