Nintendo Retires Gulf War Game Boy from Nintendo New York
Nintendo has reportedly retired the famous Game Boy that was damaged during the Gulf War and still works. The handheld console has been returned to Nintendo's headquarters in Redmond, Washington, after being displayed at the Nintendo New York Store for years. The Game Boy originally belonged to Dr. Stephan Scoggins, a medic deployed during Operation Desert Storm, and was given a replacement unit by Nintendo as a special courtesy.
