The Michigan men's basketball team has officially announced the addition of Alabama graduate transfer guard Nimari Burnett, who committed to the program in March. Burnett, a McDonald's All-American, played his freshman season at Texas Tech before transferring to Alabama, where he missed the 2021-22 season due to a torn ACL. He averaged 5.6 points over 14.6 minutes per game in 27 appearances for the Crimson Tide. Michigan also recently added Seton Hall forward Tray Jackson and Tennessee forward Olivier Nkamhoua, both graduate transfers.
