NH State Senator Arrested for Assaulting Restaurant Employee and Bar Fight
New Hampshire State Senator Keith Murphy has been arrested on two counts of simple assault and a criminal threatening charge after an employee at his restaurant filed a complaint claiming Murphy spat on and slapped him during an argument on April 30. Surveillance video was consistent with the employee's report and showed Murphy picking up a chair in an aggressive manner. Murphy, a Republican representing District 16, was released on personal recognizance and will be arraigned in Manchester District Court on July 24.
