A family from Oxon Hill, Maryland, celebrated the New Year with the birth of their daughter, who was the first baby born in 2024 at the Adventist Healthcare White Oak Medical Center in Silver Spring. Born at 12:37 a.m., weighing 4 pounds and 11 ounces, she is one of the first babies born in the D.C. area in 2024. The family was gifted a basket of toys and baby essentials to mark the occasion.
