Kentucky Parents Charged with Attempting to Sell Newborn Twin Girls
A Kentucky couple has been charged with promotion of human trafficking after allegedly attempting to sell their newborn twin daughters for $5,000 to a family member. The couple, aged 22 and 23, were reported to authorities by the man's sister-in-law, who provided evidence of the proposed sale. Although the couple admitted to agreeing to the sale, they claimed they had no intention of following through. They remain in jail with $10,000 bonds each, and their next court date is set for March 25.
